Tk1 supports three odds formats — here's how each one works
This is the default format on tk1. A ৳100 bet returns a total of ৳185 — meaning a profit of ৳85. The formula is simple: stake × odds = total return. The higher the number, the bigger the potential reward — but the lower the probability.
British format. 17/10 means ৳17 profit for every ৳10 staked. Total return: stake + profit = ৳27. You can switch to this format in Settings. Popular among traditional bettors.
+170 means a ৳100 bet returns ৳170 in profit. A negative number like –150 means you need to bet ৳150 to win ৳100. This format is mainly used for NBA and NFL odds. On tk1, you can convert between all formats.
There's a lot more to bet on beyond just "who will win". Here's what you'll find on tk1:
The simplest bet — pick who wins. Live odds update every ball/minute.
Bet on whether the total runs, goals, or points will be over or under a set number.
The underdog is given a virtual advantage to level the playing field. Odds on both sides tend to stay close.
Combine 3–10 matches in one bet — if all win, your odds multiply. Higher risk, but the rewards are far greater.
Bet on live odds as the match unfolds. Make your call based on how the game is going.
Bet on who takes the tournament. The odds are higher, but the excitement lasts the whole season.
Reading match odds and actually making smart decisions from them are two different skills. Let me walk you through some real-world examples.
Live odds move fastest in cricket betting. A single wicket can flip the odds on the very next ball. For bettors watching the game as they bet, that rapid movement creates real opportunities. tk1's in-play betting interface is built for mobile — less scrolling, bigger buttons.
Handicap betting in football works well when there's a clear gap between the two sides. For example, even if Bayern Munich are heavy favourites, a –1.5 handicap means they must win by at least 2 goals. You get slightly better odds, but the condition is tougher to meet.
Accumulator bets are popular because they offer the chance to turn a small stake into a big win. In reality though, losing just one leg wipes out the entire bet. So when building an accumulator, stick to matches you're genuinely confident about — and ideally keep it to 3–4 selections at most.
